"The Classic Tale of the Supernatural" A tragedy - "The Lancashire Witches is Harrison Ainsworth's classic romance of the supernatural, as vast and forbidding, as wild and inspiring, as bleak and as savage as windswept Pendle Hill itself." Well, I wouldn't go THAT far. The story of the people in this book is pretty sad. NO one is happy at the end. Our listing number 19048.
