1 Alcott, Louisa May Works of Louisa May Alcott, Edited by Clair Boos, Little Women, Little Men, Short Stories
U.S.A. Avenel Books, Distributed by Crown Publishers, Inc., New York, New York 10016 1982 0517371464 / 9780517371466 1st Hardcover Good Fair 6.25 Merrill, Frank T.; Birch, Reginald B.; Ledyard, Addie; and others
"Illustrated and Unabridged. The most complete one-volume collection available, containing Little Women * Little Men * Dozens of stories full of irrepressible life". 'Bargain Books' label stuck to front of Dust Jacket. Previous owner's name inside on endpaper. Apparently previous owner's child also laid claim to the book by drawing on the front cover, writing her name inside on the endpaper, and also on the line below the word "Contents" because it must have seemed the thing to do. This appears to be all she was allowed to do before the decorating was discontinued. Text is clean, Pages slightly discolored, Dust Jacket and boards show some shelf wear at the top and bottom of the spine. Pages secure. 789 pages. Jacket front illustration by Peter Fiore, Mendola, Ltd. More than 100 illustrations from the original publications. Our book number 19026.

6 Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services About Childbirth
ChanningL. Bete Co., Inc., South Deerfield, MA 01373 U. S. A. 1989 5th or later Edition Soft cover As New No Jacket
1992 edition. Pamphlet 37549A-4-89. This was used to educate women in preparation for upcoming childbirth. This was a free pamphlet in 1993 when I acquired it. We have quite a library on childbirth not yet listed, please inquire if you are looking for something. I am listing this for research purposed, and for the historical value it may have. Of all the publications we were offered, this is one of the most succinct. Because it was NOT funded by a large pharmaceutical company or a food producer, it is actually very down to earth and useful. This book does not push formula in your face or try to tout the benefits of drugs. Just the facts about pregnancy, labor and delivery with step by step instructions if you happen to be at home or in the car when the baby arrives. 16 pages. May I take this popportunity to remind that Childbirth is not an illness, it is a normal and healthy stage in life process. The more you know, the less of a mystery it is. Always seek professional assistance and advice.
