Training Llamas To Drive, Goldsmith, Bobra
1 Goldsmith, Bobra Training Llamas To Drive
U.S.A. A Hartworks production, distributed by Juniper Ridge Press. 1989 1st Clamshell Case with Original Art Very Good White Plastic Clamshell in Very Good Condition 4.75" x 8" Jarvis, Helen
2 Hours. Includes sections (delineated on the cover by increments of minutes and seconds from the beginning) teaching Preparing the Llama for Driving, Fitting the Harness, Choosing a route, First Lesson, Technique for teaching the touch of the reins, introducing the llama to the cart for the first time, riding in the cart for the first time, competition, interacting with horses....Everything one needs to know about Llama Cart driving. Distributed by Quality Llama Products. This copy purchased new in 2000. One owner. Never watched. (and we still had good success with driving the llama cart). I bet if we had done what Ms Goldsmith says, we could have ridden in the cart instead of having to walk in front with the llama. Our book number 1098.

Realm of the Incas, Revised Edition, von Hagen, Victor Wolfgang
2 von Hagen, Victor Wolfgang Realm of the Incas, Revised Edition
U.S.A. Mentor: Ancient Civilizations, Published by THE NEW AMERICAN LIBRARY 1963 Seventh Printing, July 1963 Softcover Very Good No Dust Jacket 4.25 Beltra'n, Alberto
4.25" x 7". Book in very good condition. Clean text, 223 pages, slightly aged. Small corner bent on back cover. History of the Inca Empire by a racist, bigoted, ill-informed creep. The historical data is interesting and most likely accurate. But the opinions and value judgements begin to be annoying. von Hagen claims, for example, that llamas are "oily", which is completely untrue. There is not one drop of oil on the wool of either of our llamas. Their skin tends to be dry. That is why llama wool does not smell bad when it gets wet. And von Hagen's opinions and value judgements about the lifestyles of the ancient peoples and comparisons to modern reprobative types is almost offensive. The historical data has some value. It is well researched, and the bibliography and references are invaluable for the researcher. Our book number 29067.
