6" x 9 1/4". 332 pages. Very clean textbook. A very few pencil marks in the margins, brackets to emphasize a paragraph or sentence. Text is clean, some wear to the spine at the top and bottom. Remainder mark on the spine toward the bottom. In his preface the author sincerely hopes that this book will answer "the major questions in management's mind about the new field of electronic data processing." I guess he answered their questions and dissolved their doubts. Our book number 11027.

I thought it was a new book, looks much newer than the date of issue.

The 1941 Rider manual for an early Oscilloscope. From the collection of a leading 20th century scientist. The author has this book "Dedicated to Florence who is still patient." After a life with an electrical inventor, i can see why Mr. Rider would need to apologise to poor Florence, who must have been patient indeed. This book has been in a flood @ 1960. perhaps more than one (there were three while the City of Tulsa got their act together with the sanitary sewer system). The owner carefully strung all the techincal books out in the sun on the clothesline, and some were pressed in book press. this one was carefully dried, but not pressed. 243 pages, secure in the spine. There are wrinkles on the cover where the cloth has slipped from wet glue. There is no mildew on the interior, which is as clear as ever it was before the flood.

As a college student the engineer who owned this book used it to assist him in the repair of bootleggers' state-of-the-art radios at Sam's Radio Shop in Tulsa. This book has been through a flood. The research engineer who owned the book dried it very carefully in the sun, but the glue has sagged and there are some surface wrinkles on the cover. Inside the pages are clean and flat, no mildew or warping. You should have seen him, knee-deep in water, saving the library of technical books as quickly as possible. Sacrifice to put the next generation through Gaming College.

He was sick to heart to see his library all wet and took great pains to get each book all dry and in working order. Name and address of previous owner inside front cover.

Sacrificial sale to get grandson of engineer through private college education. Well worn with much use. This belonged to the Radar officer on Guam in 1944. Surely some of those brains have rubbed off on this volume and will be of assistance to you in restoring radios from the 1930's. Instruction sheets for several products tucked into the pages. All 552 pages present, Only the cover has disappeared with use, floods, travel, and time. Our book number 2011.
