The embossed Mandala on the front cover is in a rectangular portion of the cover that has been miraculously preserved, so one may see what the original finish was like on the cover. A search of this author's work ties him to the Theosophists and the rise of Ar thought in the 1930's, Far Eastern thought and mountain climbing. An interesting character.
